Day 27 - SEATEACHER

Cat and Rat, Bye Samila Beach!



February 10 (Friday)

Early morning, the Mrs. Tatik already busy preparing breakfast for us, while we breakfast she goes to Danar school. It turns out that this woman's career, life in any country it is. But she is a great woman, Mrs. Tatik doing everything by her self without housekeepers as much we encounter in Indonesian. Ha ha ha


After dropping off Danar to school, she went to the campus to teach. We also are ready to go back to the dorm, but before departing she didn't forget wrap all foods that could be wrapped and taken to our stock in the dorm.


On the way we are afraid of troublesome Mrs. Tatik, so we asked her to drop us at the waterfront because it would like to play for a bit. Mrs. Tatik reluctantly dropped us off. Samila Beach in the morning is very different from before. We visited this beach for the third time after twice previously only we spend for shopping, this time we really spend to enjoy the sand and surf.

After satisfied playing on the beach, we returned to the dorm by riding a Tuk Tuk with rates 20 THB. At 2.00 pm we had a meeting with the President of unuversity. Upon arriving there, Ajarn Keng Polpat, Ajarn May, ajarn Narong and Ajarn Toys already waiting for us. We talk about a lot of things especially our experiences and impressions during stay in Songkhla Rajabhat University. There we submit some reminiscences, I give souvenirs in the form of rolls of cloth typical of South Kalimantan, the Sasirangan.


After meeting with the President of the University, the Faculty of Education make a meeting for our farewell by lecturers as well as a representative of the school. Sadly it seemed must part with all of them. Teacher Dao as representative of Satit's School not even withstand the power shedding tears.


In the evening we were invited to hangout by Ajarn Narong and Ajarn Toys, we visited an old temple on the mountain, then the sacred stone at the seaside then Samila beach again for dinner. We had dinner with rice and grilled fish that previously we buy at the roadside. The night was cold, under a full moon accompanied surf beach side we spent all the grilled fish while chatting cheerfully. Ajarn narong and Ajarn toys has been like our friends, even more than they like our parents.

Before returning home, we stop by the night market and see the different merchandise there and watching art performances presented by a number of students from several universities who are in Songkhla.

Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia January 2 6 ( Thurs day) Maisy and Pichat-Cha Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia Thursday , we have the invitation of the Republic of Indonesia consulate office today . Day 18 - SEATEACHER

Evaluation (1) February 1 ( Wednesday ) Evaluation (1) Parichat Wifi bad network Today is the 18 th day I was in Songkhla, Thailand . And today was the first day for the evaluation of teaching practice . I teach in class 5/ 1 in the third period , the material I teach is about the Area of Square and Rectangle . Yesterday it seemed very nervous , but today not too nervous as yesterday . Ajarn Bee from SKRU came to give a value for my first evaluation . I teach using the NHT ( Number Heads Together) methods . Teaching-learning process ever goes quite smoothly. Initially I did feel nervous, but thanks to your help Teacher Pichat . There are a few comments from Ajarn Bee for me, s he told me that I was talking too fast. So that not all students will understand every sentence that I described . So for the next assessment should I slow down word that every word in...

Day 14 - SEATEACHER

LAZY DAY January 2 8 ( Satur day) Lazy all long day Full Moon Cafe After Friday stress, we waited around Songkhla invitation from the campus. But there is no action news that today we would be taken for a walk. Finally we just lounging in the dorm while occasionally gathered material for assessment in the third week in school. So throughout the day, even to not shower. ha ha ha For breakfast and lunch, we cook rice (for the first time in the dorm) by using the rice cooker owned by a friend in the dorm who were returning home. Not bad, just that we can not cook a lot of food because of limited material. Later that night, we agreed to purchase only at the night market and upon arrival in the market are not so many traders are open (perhaps due to public holidays) and finally we decided to eat at the cafe near the market alone.
