Day 3 - SEATEACHER

 We start from our dorm at 9.00 am to go to Satit School by Ajarn Keng's (Dr. Polpat) car, because its rainy in the morning. We were introduced to the Director and teachers of Satit School where we were formally accepted as Practice Teachers, Laras, Ulfa, Charles and me in Primary School in Satit School and Anna and Ilham in the Pre-School of Satit School.
 We walked around in the school, from the 1st floor to the 3rd floor and in the Pre-School's building too with Teacher Alamy (Mee). When lunch time, students in this school have to lunch together in the canteen by their spoon, fork and glasses that they bring from their house. The lunch menu is different every day, sometimes its rice with vegetables or fried noodle with chicken, etc.

After lunch, we have a meeting with Wise Director of Satit School (Teacher Jane). From her, we knew our schedule for 4 weeks in this school and also who is our mentor in this school. At 4.00 we back to our dorm.

Official Welcome Faculty of Education was held at 6.00 pm. I really feel pleased with their reception. they were all very friendly and Ajarn Mai presents some typical Thai food and of course, delicious. I guess my tongue matched with Thai foods, or indeed I am a glutton. ha ha ha

Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia January 2 6 ( Thurs day) Maisy and Pichat-Cha Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia Thursday , we have the invitation of the Republic of Indonesia consulate office today . Today we just became an assistant teacher at 1 during the period , and the rest of the time we use to translate lesson plan given by Teacher Pichat with Mee and Maisy . Thailand very difficult to translate into English and mathematics , so we agreed to use the lesson plan format in general terms , not as fully as school property . Day 18 - SEATEACHER

Evaluation (1) February 1 ( Wednesday ) Evaluation (1) Parichat Wifi bad network Today is the 18 th day I was in Songkhla, Thailand . And today was the first day for the evaluation of teaching practice . I teach in class 5/ 1 in the third period , the material I teach is about the Area of Square and Rectangle . Yesterday it seemed very nervous , but today not too nervous as yesterday . Ajarn Bee from SKRU came to give a value for my first evaluation . I teach using the NHT ( Number Heads Together) methods . Teaching-learning process ever goes quite smoothly. Initially I did feel nervous, but thanks to your help Teacher Pichat . There are a few comments from Ajarn Bee for me, s he told me that I was talking too fast. So that not all students will understand every sentence that I described . So for the next assessment should I slow down word that every word in...

Day 14 - SEATEACHER

LAZY DAY January 2 8 ( Satur day) Lazy all long day Full Moon Cafe After Friday stress, we waited around Songkhla invitation from the campus. But there is no action news that today we would be taken for a walk. Finally we just lounging in the dorm while occasionally gathered material for assessment in the third week in school. So throughout the day, even to not shower. ha ha ha For breakfast and lunch, we cook rice (for the first time in the dorm) by using the rice cooker owned by a friend in the dorm who were returning home. Not bad, just that we can not cook a lot of food because of limited material. Later that night, we agreed to purchase only at the night market and upon arrival in the market are not so many traders are open (perhaps due to public holidays) and finally we decided to eat at the cafe near the market alone. Yes cafe yesterday we went along Mee, and ordered the chicken fried rice there. Full Moon cafe looks like it will ...
